Migrating from a 2008 Failover Cluster to a 2016 Availability Group with Minimal Downtime

Would you like to migrate from a SQL Server 2008 Failover Cluster to a SQL Server 2016 Availability Group? Perhaps you have a large database and want to be able to migrate without needing to do a full backup/restore on migration day. Here we provide a full demonstrated process utilizing Database Mirroring and Log Shipping to perform the migration with minimal downtime and minimal maintenance.
